Glimmer of Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation started in honor of Ella Integlia. Ella bravely battled leukemia for 3 years before passing away in August 2019. Ella loved all things girly. She named her port “Sparkle” and her hospital room was all pink and called “The Pink Palace.” When Ella began to lose her hair, she wrote a letter to American Girl asking them to create a bald doll, so that girls like her could feel confident in their hair loss. Ella named her doll “Hope.” Glimmer of Hope shows girls (and boys) their strength & beauty through the donation of bald American Girl Dolls and provides HOPE to families battling childhood cancer. We have been fortunate enough to donate 87 dolls and 77 care packages to date. We also provide meals to the Izzy room at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Thank you for supporting Glimmer of Hope and helping us spread Ella’s sparkle wherever you go!
